Evangel Publishing House, an indigenous Christian Publishing company provides resources to Christians of every age and in every stage of life as they seek to be equipped for service to God, Church and community. It is a company limited by guarantee with no share capital.
- Evangel has remained focused on its core business of publishing and distributing quality resources that empower, enrich and impact the church in Africa and the world.
- Our portfolio ranges from Theological Education by Extension (TEE) books to leadership, pastoral and church resources as well as books that address contemporary issues such as HIV/AIDS, counselling and family matters from a Biblical perspective. In addition, Evangel publishes books on children and youth.
- We have about 300 titles in our backlist. In line with our name, which is derived from a Greek word meaning ‘proclamation of the Gospel’, many of the titles published, have been translated into African (vernacular) languages and are being sold in more than 57 countries in Africa and around the world, in an endeavor to proclaim the gospel to all nations.
- Evangel’s customers include individuals, churches, Bible schools, seminaries and universities. Missionaries also form a significant part of our clientele together with Christian and secular bookshops.
